well i meant judging by lining up the pipes sort of if theres any interference issues or whatever you can foresee that i can't because i've never done FMIC pipes before. Theres always little things that i dont notice until I actually do it so i thought i'd ask for help ahead of time.

I so recommend buying from one of our vendors instead. Nate makes and sells some great fmic setups. He has different levels of size and budget too. And unlike ebay, you can go see them for yourself in person and if there's problems he'll help you out. I've personally ran his budget fmic kit which cooled really well and much better than I even thought it would, and I'm now running the full race fmic kit. There's like 2 bends in the uicp. Its a really fuckin nice peice. Like Luke's said before, you get what you pay for. Nate uses quality cores as well that don't split open at the seams like other ebay SHIT I've seen.

yea....e-bay parts + DSM's = catastrophe.

you cheap fuckers crack me up.
if you can't pay for real parts, why bother?

tell me luke, would it really make a performance difference if i put togehter a intercooler kit myself or bought it all together with a name on the package?

it's not necessarily about performance difference. with e-bay parts...its usually about it fitting (and not having to cut your car up to make it fit), or about the parts actually being functional and in good shape. at least go to a store or some reputable place to buy parts...even if they are no name brands.

the parts fit
the parts have been proven to work
the parts are made with quality materials
you get customer service with your purchase
you get a name that will stand behind their product.

if you're on a really tight budget, buy somebody's used fmic setup. Or buy Diablo's big sidemount intercooler.

An excellent idea... in fact, I have my street core fmic setup I've been looking to sell ever since my friend who was going to buy it sold his dsm. If you're interested let me know.
